Rishi Shori

Rishi Shori is Birmingham City Council’s Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director for Strategy, Insight and Governance. In this role he is leading upon the Council’s response to its current Statutory Intervention.

Prior to joining Birmingham he has held senior leadership roles at Bury Metropolitan Borough Council, Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the Local Government Association.

Rishi is a qualified solicitor and before embarking on a career in Local Government spent 10 years working in the private sector specialising in Commercial Dispute Resolution
